2	Announcements Book It goal for January is 2 chapter books of 100 or more pages. This is due on January 30^th. Music program is in February. Be sure to have your costume lined up soon. Scholastic Book Orders are due by January 12^th.

6	Ohio History This week we are reading two stories about Indian captures in Ohio. This is a continuation of our study about Ohio’s Historic Indian tribes. On Friday students will be doing a writing activity that relates to the books we are reading this week. Nightly homework is to share with parents what we read that day. These are great books!!!
