New! - The Three-Hour Delay Beginning with the 2007-2008 school year, the administration has another option available to them when faced with calamity day decisions. In the event the district has used all five of the state-allowed calamity days, a three-hour delay can be implemented. School would start at 11:00 a.m., and be extended to 4:00 p.m.; thus fulfilling the state requirement of a full school day. Please keep in mind that a three-hour delay is an additional option available; two-hour delays may still be utilized. Even when a three-hour delay schedule is used, there is still a possibility school could be cancelled for the day, depending upon weather conditions. While we foresee the use of the days to be very limited, please make contingency child care plans should the need arise to use this schedule. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your building principal.
